Yuin PK1 sounds like a big size cans, moreover, like a good big size cans. Expensive for an earbuds, cheap for its audiophile quality that equal to headphones.

The Yuin PK1 were the first high impedance earphones that could even begin to compete with full sized headphones. Like the newer OK-series, the old PK-series earphones are also available in three different variants. Not like the new OK-series from Yuin, the old PK-series earbuds cannot be converted into canalphones so if you are looking for some degree of isolation you should skip past the PK-series.

And a 1/8 inches (3.5 mm) to 1/4 inches (6.3 mm) converter which means that you can connects them up to your full-size headamp. With the PK1 you are constantly reminded that this is not a normal pair of earbuds, with an impedance of a whooping 150 Ohms.






Yuin PK1 performing well any music genre without EQ, but its hard to drive PK1 very loud. So it is good companion for iPod Shuffle 1st Generation or please use the headamp for better SQ. Many people choose iBasso P2 Heron to drive the PK1. Sound output from Yuin PK1 is smooth, detailed, well extended with deep and strong, full-bodied bass. Instrument separation/positioning are perfect. Emphasis on bass is obvious but very pleasant for few people. Mids are very natural and distinct, highs are silky with no hisses.






The PK1 recommended to any who want big sound and stay comfort, everywhere you are, everytime you go. Avoid extremely power-defficient sources. Perfect sound with no flaws, and perfect comfort. It sounds like good big sized can or expensive micro-armature IEM, while excels them both in comfort.
